Are you STILL WAITING for what you know God has promised you? Are you STILL WAITING for your prophetic promises to come to life? Are you STILL WAITING for your promised land? Hang on just a little longer, because I have great news for you!
Have you started to see some breakthrough, but still need to see more? The truth is this: so far in this new season many have been relying on the scripture, “The steps of the righteous are ordered of the Lord,” (Psalm 37:23). We have had a little breakthrough in some areas, but for the most part, we have been operating in the dark, truthfully walking by faith with no clarity. Sound familiar?
Our lives are a prophetic picture! Know this, family: not only is breakthrough already on the scene and ready to burst forth! Your prophetically promised land will be exploding into view in this hour!
“For there is nothing hidden that shall not be disclosed; nor anything secret that shall not be known and come out into the open.” (Luke 8:17 AMPC)
Couldn’t see the forest for the trees! Many years ago, in a vision, the Lord showed me a peach-colored blob. It was so close to my face that I really couldn’t see anything, just the color of it. He then asked me what I saw. “I don’t know, Lord,” I answered. “A peach colored blob.” In the vision, He moved this blob of color further and further away from my face, until I could finally see what it was: a peach-colored rose! He then said that when we are too close to something that we cannot see it clearly for what it truly is. It takes God to bring it fully into view.
“Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, I see a branch or shoot of an almond tree [the emblem of alertness and activity, blossoming in late winter]. Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.” (Jeremiah 1:11-12 AMPC).
In the same way, a few months ago we purchased land, but we really couldn’t see it. We had an idea of its size because we had been told what it was. We had seen its boundaries on paper. We walked around it several times before we bought it and multiple times afterward, praying over it and blessing it. However, we had no real knowledge of what it was that we had bought. We had never been able to venture beyond the outer borders of it. We had no clarity because we had never actually SEEN it.
The reason? Just like that peach blob of color was actually a peach-colored rose, we couldn’t see anything – just trees and scrub brush; a thick blob of forest! We literally could not see the forest for the trees! But we knew it was buried in there somewhere, mere steps away from where we walked. We knew that our “promised land” – the land promised to us when we bought it, the land we had seen on paper, the land that we had walked around – was just out of sight.
God is clearing your promised land! Recently we had a portion of our land cleared by a process called “under-brushing”. Before this it was a tangled mess of trees, vines and scrub brush. Suddenly, everything changed! It was awesome to watch as the forestry machine that did the clearing devoured, chewed up and spit out everything in its path in a huge cloud of dirt, dust and wood chips. Incredibly, what had appeared to be a solid wall of brush, vines and trees fell before this machine, becoming mere stubble on the ground. The land was revealed, and as the dust cleared, suddenly our promised land came into view. We could finally SEE what we had bought. We could finally SEE OUR LAND!
Family, you simply MUST KNOW that God is clearing your “promised land”! He is a consuming fire (see Hebrews 12:29)! He is your vindicator (see Genesis 30:6) and your justifier (see Romans 3:26)! Listen, just like that machine, He is chewing up and spitting out everything that stands between YOU and your promised land!
When the smoke clears and the dust settles, you will see the land that has been promised to you, the land that you have “bought” – your promised land! This land – your ministry, your marriage, your career, your health, that which you have seen in visions, in dreams and in prophetic promises – THIS land is what is coming into your field of vision. It is only another few faith-filled steps away!
GOD IS CLEARING YOUR PROMISED LAND! Hold onto His promises! Hold onto your faith! Hold onto your prophetic promises! Believe God!
“And he [Abram] believed in (trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord, and He counted it to him as righteousness (right standing with God).” (Genesis 15:6 AMPC)
If you have been operating in the dark, fear not, because the light switch is turning on! As the dust settles, your view is being unobscured. The walls of brush and vines before you will be falling at your feet as wood chips for you to walk on, keeping the weeds at bay by divine design! Your land will soon be in full view, clear of any smoke, mirrors or dust and ready for you to take possession.
