The Angel of Peace has Arrived!

I saw a flowing red robe with multi-color-patterns on it. It reminded me of a butterfly. It was fluttering in the breeze as if in slow motion.  It adorned a beautiful blonde woman, whom I perceived to be an angel.  This woman never looked at me. She was facing in one direction; suddenly I saw her facing the other three, in rapid succession: the north, the south, the east and the west.

In the next instant, I saw this same angel with the flowing red butterfly robe walking next to a G.I., an army man. I could tell he was in the army because even though he was not in uniform – he was dressed in jeans and a short-sleeved shirt – I could see his haircut, a marine-style flat top.  This man was muscular and carried a duffel bag.  I couldn’t see his face, because the butterfly robed angel blocked my view.  I saw her lean in toward the army man as they climbed the stairs leading onto a plane, playfully laying her head on his shoulder. Then they stepped together in unison up the ramp to the plane.

Next, I saw the army man seated on the plane by himself.  I did not see her next to him. There was one long column of seats down the middle of the plane, with two seats side by side on every row. I saw him lean forward in his seat and turn a key, as if he was starting the engine of a vehicle.  I caught a flash of the butterfly robed angel in the back ground. She was transparent; however, I saw her form as she made herself visible for just a flash.  I heard, “The angel of peace has arrived!”  I allowed the peace of this angel to flow over me as I lay before the Lord.

“For where the spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty,” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV).

God is taking us to a higher plane! I realized that the army man was symbolic of us, the Lord’s army, climbing onto a plane so God can take us even higher! “Come up here…” (Revelation 4:1).  In order to go higher with Him we must have the peace of the Lord, found only in His presence. This is necessary in order to get into position on this higher plane and turn the key to ready ourselves for takeoff (see Isaiah 22:22).

There was no uniform. I got the sense that this G.I. was “on leave” – at LIBERTY! For many of us, there is such a sense of freedom in this new season we are in! We are free to be free, at liberty! As the Lord takes us ever higher, it becomes easier and easier to go where He leads us with utter abandon and total freedom.

Positioned in your seat of Authority! The angel of peace led him higher, up the steps onto this plane, in order for him to be correctly positioned in his seat of authority.  There are steps that we have had to take, processes we have had to go through, to become seated in high places.  We are now on the final runway!  Soon, we will be able to turn the keys that initiate take-off, keys we have acquired over the past several seasons.

Get rid of the passengers! The plane was unlike any I have seen in the natural, with two seats in the middle of the aisle only, with none on either side. The seat to the right of this G.I. was empty.  This is where his passenger would be.  Recently, I spent all weekend with a deliverance ministry that referred to demons as “passengers”. Believe me, once the passengers are gone, the peace moves in! The Spirit of the Lord can freely operate, and this brings total freedom!  Definitely work on ditching any passengers you may be carrying, so the peace of God can move in to stay!

Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14).

Want to know God’s will? Follow the Peace! Many years ago, one of the ways I learned to hear God was “to follow the peace”.  It helped me to know what it was that God wanted me to do. Following the peace made it evident to me that, if I felt no peace about a particular move or decision, that it was NOT God’s will! The angel of peace led our army man where he needed to go to get where God wanted him to be.

He is doing the same thing for you today that He did for me lo those many years ago…He is teaching you to “follow the peace” – the angel of peace!  To do this, to follow the peace, we must be transparent, just as the angel was.  We must NOT be afraid, or unwilling, to lean entirely upon the Lord, and to trust Him with every decision, with every action, with every thought. We must ONLY follow the peace in our spirit man, the peace that surpasses all understanding (see Philippians 4:7). In this way we will be able to go higher with the Lord.

“Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you,” (1 Peter 5:7).

We are a captive audience! In a plane, we are a “captive audience”, which is what He wants! He wants us to be totally focused on Him, and Him alone. When we are alone with Him, His peace and presence become our primary concern, and all the other things of this life become meaningless. Allow His peace to wash over you; lay all your cares on His altar and allow Him to care for you. This will bring you immense peace!

He is sending His angels from the north, the south, the east and the west to come to your aid and to take care of you as well as to wage war on your behalf in the heavenlies! Spiritual battles require spiritual tactics.  He is releasing them to you through His peace in His presence! Trust Him to be able to do it. Rest in the Lord, and in the power of His might!

^“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might,” (Ephesians 6:10).
